Then, once a year, we sit down with your story.
Instead of a generic questionnaire, the LifeScribed Interview can use things you have actually contributed during the year.
The Founding Pilot includes one guided annual digital interview. It may combine human-supervised and AI-assisted processes while the interview system is being developed. There is not yet a fully autonomous voice interviewer.
It may help organise, transcribe, retrieve and suggest questions. It must never fabricate memories or put words in your mouth.

Future vision — not included in the £29 pilot
LifeScribed is exploring an opt-in Social History Archive. People could choose to donate selected memories to future generations and researchers—small, human accounts of ordinary work, growing up in a particular town, social attitudes, technology changing daily life, and more.
Nothing would ever enter a social-history collection merely because an account became inactive. Any future contribution would require explicit consent and appropriate privacy and de-identification safeguards.

Is LifeScribed already a finished product?
No. The larger platform has not been built. This page offers a paid 12-month pilot service with specific deliverables.
What happens if LifeScribed doesn’t launch?
You still receive every pilot deliverable, including your annual interview and an export of the material collected for you.
Why charge for a pilot?
The pilot helps us test whether this is something people genuinely value enough to sustain—not simply whether the idea attracts compliments.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You may cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. After that, contact us if there is a problem; your statutory rights are unaffected. See the Founding Pilot Terms.
Do I need an app or have to answer every Memory Spark?
No. Sparks arrive by email, and you can answer as many or as few as you like.
Can I export my memories?
Yes. You receive an export at the end of the pilot and can request a copy of your data during it.
Will AI pretend to be me after I die?
No. LifeScribed does not offer voice cloning, a chatbot version of you, or AI-generated memories.
Is my archive automatically made public?
No. A possible future Social History Archive is not part of this pilot and would require separate, explicit opt-in consent.
