Founding Pilot Terms.

These terms describe a one-off, paid 12-month pilot service. They are not a pre-order for a finished app or a promise that a larger LifeScribed platform will be built.

1. The purchase

You pay £29 GBP once for one person’s 12-month Founding Pilot. There is no automatic renewal. Your pilot begins when payment is confirmed and onboarding is completed.

2. What LifeScribed will deliver

• Memory Sparks by email for 12 months, at your chosen monthly, fortnightly or weekly frequency, subject to reasonable operational limits and email deliverability;
• the ability to reply with memories, which LifeScribed will collect and organise during the pilot;
• one guided annual digital interview, using human-supervised and/or AI-assisted processes;
• a practical, accessible export of material collected for you during the pilot; and
• opportunities to provide founding-member feedback.

If the larger LifeScribed product is never built, these pilot commitments still apply.

3. What is not included

The pilot does not include lifetime hosting, permanent cloud storage, inheritance or legacy automation, a finished app, a Social History Archive, guaranteed future pricing, voice cloning or an AI recreation of you.

4. Your choices and responsibilities

You decide what to share and may skip any prompt. Please do not submit unlawful material, content you do not have a right to share, or highly sensitive information about another person without careful judgement. Keep your email account secure and tell us if your address changes.

5. AI and editorial integrity

AI may help organise, transcribe, retrieve or suggest interview questions. It must not fabricate memories or create statements presented as yours. If a transcript or organised export contains an error, tell us and we will take reasonable steps to correct it.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel by emailing info@lifescribed.org within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. After 14 days, the pilot payment is generally non-refundable once delivery is under way, unless the service is not provided with reasonable care and skill or your statutory rights otherwise require a remedy. We may offer an additional refund at our discretion. Cancelling optional marketing contact does not cancel the pilot.

7. Service changes and interruptions

Because this is a pilot, delivery methods and operational details may change. LifeScribed may replace a tool or process, but will not remove the core deliverables above without offering an appropriate remedy. Email delivery can be affected by spam filters, outages or incorrect addresses; contact us if expected messages do not arrive.

8. Your export and retention

You receive an end-of-pilot export in a practical format. You can also request access or export during the pilot. Access to your own memories will not depend on a future LifeScribed platform. Retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Notice.

9. Future ideas

Any future Social History Archive would be separate and opt-in. Inactivity is never consent. No future product, feature, public archive or price is promised by these terms.

10. Liability and legal rights

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits your statutory consumer rights. LifeScribed is not a substitute for your own backups of irreplaceable source material.
